
Luca Camerini holds a Bachelor and a Master in Communication Technologies from the University of Lugano. He is currently involved in the research activity of the Institute of Communication and Health of the University of Lugano, where he joined several research project in the field of Health Communication and Technology, including the study of technologies supporting hospitals’ administrations, the analysis of the evolving relationship between doctor and patients in the information age, the impact of new media on the self-management of chronic conditions. In 2008 he started his PhD at the University of Lugano, studying the impact of eHealth interactive communication applications in the case of rheumatologic illnesses. Alongside the research activity, he is currently involved in the Swiss National Science Foundation Doctoral School in Health Communication
