
Sara Rubinelli holds a PhD in Ancient Philosophy from the University of Leeds (UK) in the areas of logic, argumentation theory and rhetoric. She is Scientific Secretary of the Institute of Communication and of the University of Lugano (CH), where she collaborates at national and international research projects in the fields of argumentation and health, communication mediated by new technologies, direct-to-consumer advertising and communication skills in professional curricula. She is the author of several papers on argumentation theory, rhetoric and communication in the context of the classical world (especially on Aristotle and Cicero) and in health. She lectures on logic and the history of logic in the course “Logica” at the Bachelor of the Faculty of Communication Sciences; she also lecture in “Professional Argumentation” at the Master in Computer Engineering of the Politecnico di Milano (I) and on “Communication professionelle” at the University of Neuchâtel (CH).
